Individual Therapy

In everyone's life there are moments when we face difficulties. We need help to more effectively use our own resources, learn how to deal with various problems, to see and acknowledge some information, gain back control over your life or simply to live in a calmer and happier way.

 

To help you in gaining confidence, I’ll tell you what to expect on a first session, in simple 3 steps:

 

Establishing relation with professional

It is important and a necessary condition that the relation between you and the professional feels right and mutual understanding is established naturally. It gives you belief and confidence that with help of this particular professional you will overcome your problems.

 

Discussing problems you need help with

It is important to clearly establish what are your problems and expectations. Based on that, a plan of action can be drawn. It happens that all you need is to specify your issue. Sometimes it may happen that the problem is outside a therapeutic area and your personal scope such as - making changes in someone or something else to please you.

 

Having an agreement

A verbal or written agreement is important to create an optimal environment. It gives a sense of a safety blanket but also has a positive influence on motivation and terms and conditions of cooperation. Often the agreement isn't appearing as a separate part, it comes in a conversation flow and the content of the agreements concerns: the purpose of the therapy and its form, formal conditions in which the psychotherapy will take place (its planned duration, place, frequency and length of sessions, terms of their cancellation, amount and forms of fees transferred, methods of communication between sessions, etc.)
